A Welcome Cataclysm
The pope’s encyclical at last is inked.
The problem now is climate change, you know–
and one-world government is set to grow.
I wish that idiots would go extinct.

I do agree whole-heartedly. However, I think it’s more than mere idiocy at this stage: I think we’ve seen the masses move into a state of insanity.
Dennis O’Brien sent me over here to visit. We’ve been communicating for a couple of years now, and I’ve told him he’s one of my heroes in the halls of wordsmiths because he makes such good use of his gift for poetic social satire. He recommended you as another poet after my own heart — and he’s certainly correct. I’ve had a chance to read only a few of your pieces so far, but they are so “right on,” and so well done. Thanks for having the courage to write the truth.
I write poetry, but I’ve never felt I had a gift for taking on the major issues through that form. I certainly take on the major issues, but I always seem to do so in basic prose. I often tell Dennis that it takes me 200 words to say what he can say in 25.
Keep up the great work!
Thanks, Sandra.
