Vampires: A Verse Review

Vampires: A Verse Review

Vampires, directed by John Carpenter:
I had a look at it on Halloween.
Few movies, I can say, are bloodier.
No formal medics get to intervene.
James Woods is truly bad-ass – lean and mean—
As Jack Crow, slayer of the damned undead.
Valek’s the master sucker, whose obscene
Acts must be viewed instead of simply read.
Traitorous churchmen, head on severed head,
Crossbows, machine guns, mystery and shock:
You get the sanguine picture, as I said.
In the end, Valek suffers INSTABLOCK.
His last thirst goeth, God be thanked, unslakèd.
And wow! The flick’s got Laura Palmer – naked!

Response to “Racism”

Response to “Racism”

Say one thing they don’t like – and you’re gone!
They will shriek that you’re racist from dawn
Until midnight at least.
As response, you foul beast,
Mr. Woods recommends #yawn.
