I’m in the realm where Cuomo Junior reigns.
I must admit I’m missing Jerry Brown.
My sense of inborn liberty complains:

He beats his hairy chest, expands his veins,
and is supreme as tyrant and as clown.

The press reminds us of your oratory.
I well remember it. It truly sucked.
You told a stupid, sentimental story
about your dear old dad — and crudely mucked
around with lame clichés. The chickens clucked
that you were rooster number one. Astir
they were, but Mr. Mondale still got plucked,
and Reagan’s victory remained secure.
Nevertheless, you served a purpose, sir–
and serve it even better since you’re dead.
Recalling now the monster that you were,
I can prefer the jerk I face instead.
Next to you, lewd Apostle of the Lie,
Jerry Brown is a wise and saintly guy.
